I wanted to list my house for sale and knew I needed to replace the siding. Cassio came out as scheduled and recommended the most cost effective repairs that would make over the exterior. The work was high quality and they are very competitively priced. The workers kept a clean job site and were friendly and professional. The office was responsive to any questions and the project was completed as scheduled. I would highly recommend Strong Shield Siding and will use them in the future.

I have some experience with doing this type of work having grown up in a family of home improvement contractors. So I expected to be critical of any contractors we interviewed. Strong Shield came recommended by a general contractor in the area, and I must say I was very pleased. We contracted for quite a bit of work with Casio Santos the owner of Strong Shield. Casio did an excellent job in all phases of our project. When we started, we knew there would be a few areas where plywood sheeting would need replaced. Casio managed this well, and the charges added to our contract were very reasonable. This was a challenging project due to the height of the side walls, and some areas had very tight spacing for any kind of scaffolding. Strong Shield did a great job in all phases of the project. They were very responsive with any issues raised, quickly responding and making adjustments when asked to do so. I highly recommend Casio Santos and Strong Shield. His team did a great job, and Casio was great to deal with.

We hired them to replace all composite siding with James Hardie, porch floor, added railings to porch, completely painted house, replaced existing gutters. It went extremely well. I was impressed how quick they removed old siding and installed plywood and waterproof material. The siding went up well, took maybe twice as long as demo, but from what I understand installing Hardie isn't the easiest thing, especially when it's 4" reveal like mine is. The porch had to be reinforced with add'l joists to handle the Aerista decking, a great product by the way. The guys on the job were very easy to talk with about what was going on, did a good job of keeping everything neat and orderly while working. I would be really hard pressed and would have to get very, very trivial to find one thing about the whole process I was unhappy with!

The exterior of my 1947 cottage-style house was the original, horrible vinyl siding that was on the house when I purchased it 20+ years ago, which was faded, always leaked and caused me many headaches. For years, I knew I needed to re-do the exterior and hoped that one day it would be with Hardie Plank. That day finally arrived. I got Cassio’s name from a friend who has used Strong Shield Siding for many projects. From the initial phone call and meeting to get an estimate, Cassio was informative, listened to what I wanted done, offered options and never tried to “sell me something” I did not want – overall a pleasure to do business with. I had also gotten an estimate from another company for the exact same work (they were slightly more expensive), but because of their “high pressure sales pitch,” the choice was easy – I immediately called Cassio and told him he was hired. I signed the contract at the end of August 2013. Work began shortly thereafter and lasted about 5 1/2 weeks. The crew was professional, punctual, cleaned up the yard and work area daily, and was very talented in coming up with creative ideas and solutions instead of just doing a ‘siding job.’ During the entire project, if I had any concerns or questions, Cassio was always available and/or would return my calls quickly, and was reassuring whenever my renovation worries took over. Upon completion of the job, Cassio did the final inspection with me and made sure that everything was done to my complete satisfaction. After all was said and done, I love how it all turned out and I now have the best looking house on the block! I would (and will) definitely hire Strong Shield Siding again to do exterior work for me and highly recommend them to anyone needing this type job.

I hired Strong Shield Siding LLC to replace my water-rotted cedar siding with James Hardie Fiber-Cement boards. I own a 1960s style ranch home that was in desperate need of new siding. I had seen Strong Shield Siding’s bandit sign in front of a home they were working on, and I put them on the short list of companies to get estimates from. I knew from my initial meeting with Cassio from Strong Shield Siding that they were the contractors for me. During the estimate (with my 4th siding contractor) Cassio asked the right questions and answered my questions knowledgably. He also posed questions to me that none of the other contractors had. Overall the price was reasonable, it wasn’t the highest or lowest estimate I had received, but I knew that I was going to get everything I expected from them. They were able to start within a few weeks of signing the contract, and the job took approximately two weeks to complete. The workers were professional and respectful. They left my yard tidy each night. I could easily contact them with questions, and they were quick to contact me back with solutions. Upon completion, Cassio met with me to do a final walkthrough. He was able to answer the few concerns I had with no issues. Strong Shield Siding provided the best experience with every encounter, from the initial visit through completion. I am very pleased with my siding, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of their expertise. I am looking forward to hiring them again in the future to redo my roof.
